Parents United in Learning and
Supporting Education (PULSE)
For parents of children with learning issues or for parents
who want to learn how to improve their child's learning skills.
who want to learn how to improve their child's learning skills.
PULSE members will learn:
- What questions to ask your child's teacher to better understand how your child is learning and performing in the classroom.
- The questions that need to be answered at a CORE evaluation meeting.
- What the terms that the school uses to define your child's learning style actually mean.
- How the information you are being told will impact our child's ability to learn in the classroom.
- How to work with the school to set up the accommodations and modifications needed to support your child's classroom learning style.
PULSE groups give parents the opportunity to get in contact with other parents with similar issues. Together, parents can learn the skills on how to work with school districts in order to help their child get the most out of their educational experience. Every parent wants their child to succeed in the classroom and PULSE gives you the tools on how to talk to your school system to achieve this goal. In this small group setting, parents can work together and support one another in an effort to improve their child's classroom learning experience. Contact us at pulse4parents@gmail.com.
